We would like to express our gratitude to the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association for organizing last night’s reception in honor of attorney Tony DelCampo, celebrating his recent appointment as the first Hispanic president of the State Bar of Georgia. Likewise, we extend our thanks to the Latin American Association of Atlanta for being excellent hosts on this remarkable night of celebration.
The words of last night’s presenters, Maria Batres, President of the Board of the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association (GHBA), attorney Irvin Hernandez, also president of the same organization, and Santiago Marquez, president of the Latin American Association of Atlanta, encourage and commit us to continue growing and contributing to our community.
We celebrate as a community because such achievements demonstrate that Latinos can rise and be a good example for our future generations.
